Dr. Tim Clinton: The Current ‘Battle for The Family’ Has Never Been More Important

Clinton’s Newest Book, ‘Focus on the Future,’ Set for Release on October 5

LYNCHBURG, VA.— In his upcoming book, Focus on the Future: Your Family, Your Faith, and Your Voice Matter Now More Than Ever,” Dr. Tim Clinton argues for the urgency of protecting the ideals of “family” in order to create a better future. If society allows the state of the family to decay, he claims, the nation will soon follow.

Clinton states, “I believe that a family is a living organism that contains the future of society. This is because as the family goes, so go the individuals of that family who will one day make up society. It is the family that shapes identity more than any other institution. It is the family that imparts values. It is the family that anchors healthy souls and the family that sets the trajectory of every individual when it comes to learning, earning, worshipping, serving, giving, and connecting with the rest of society.”

By putting the effort into cultivating a morally upright family life, Clinton believes society will benefit in the long run. “We may not be able to change national trends instantly, but the fact is we can dramatically shape the cultures of our homes, which in turn shape the course of our nation,” Clinton claims.

Clinton uses the example of the family dinner to illustrate his point. Studies show that teenagers who regularly eat meals with their families experience fewer signs of depression, are less likely to use drugs, and overall receive higher grades in school than teenagers who do not consistently have dinner with family members.

Clinton concludes, “Now, notice the vast difference a family meal makes in the lives of family members and yet how little it requires. We are talking about doing something you already do three times a day. Just do it with family, do it regularly, and work to make the experience enjoyable, loving, and even inspiring if possible. This changes lives. And these lives in turn will transform other lives.”

As the president of the American Association of Christian Counselors (AACC), Clinton is familiar with these issues, as well as how to address them. In his new book, he reveals:

  • How to promote and restore the marriage contract and the family unit
  • How to resist the forces determined to destroy biblical masculinity
  • How to lead and protect millennials and Gen Z-ers from today’s rampant temptations

Dr. Tim Clinton, EdD, LPC, LMFT, is president of AACC, the largest and most diverse Christian counseling association in the world. Dr. Clinton also serves as the Executive Director of the Liberty University Global Center for Mental Health, Addiction and Recovery, and co-host of “Dr. James Dobson’s Family Talk,” heard on nearly 1400 radio outlets daily. Licensed as a Professional Counselor and as a Marriage and Family Therapist, Dr. Clinton is recognized as a world leader in mental health and relationship issues and spends much of his time working with Christian leaders and professional athletes. He has authored or edited nearly 30 books. Dr. Clinton and his wife, Julie, have two children, and a granddaughter.

Parents: Protect Children by Empowering Them to Be Bold Witnesses at School

“We are Fighting for the Souls of a Generation,” Says Bestselling Author Dr. Michael Youssef in Newest Book, “Hope for This Present Crisis”

ATLANTA — Withradicals indoctrinating school children into anti-American values systems within our education establishments, bestselling author Dr. Michael Youssef, in his latest book, Hope for This Present Crisis,” offers hope and advice to parents on how to empower their children in order to protect them from the onslaught of evil permeating our present culture.

“With Progressives controlling the agenda for our schools, we have been inundated by such things as Critical Race Theory being pushed in schools. Thankfully, parents across the country are fighting back, making their objections heard loud and clear. We also see ‘The 1619 Project’ being taught in some schools, along with pornographic Sex Ed and the LQBTQ agenda being forced upon our children,” says Dr. Youssef.

The common theme is that history is being characterized falsely—with historical incidents such as the Boston Tea Party literally being re-written to portray the Sons of Liberty —freedom fighters—as terrorists, while true terrorists, like Al Qaeda, are portrayed as “freedom fighters.”

“The result is that American schoolchildren are being LIED to—and our country is being deceived,” says Dr. Youssef. “Biblical prophecy from Isaiah 5:20 is unfolding right before our eyes: ‘Woe to those who call evil good and good evil, who put darkness for light and light for darkness, who put bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter.’

“People who portray freedom fighters as terrorist and terrorists as freedom fighters should not be allowed within a thousand miles of our children’s education,” says Dr. Youssef.

Dr. Youssef reveals major problems with the Common Core curriculum, adopted across the country, developed with funding by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, implemented by the Obama administration and the National Governors Association, with formative influence by Bill Ayers, the radical leader of the 1960s domestic terror group, the Weather Underground.

In his book, Dr. Youssef references C.S. Lewis’ classic work of literature, “Screwtape Proposes a Toast,” a 1959 sequel to The Screwtape Letters (1942), where Lewis predicted the state of public education today. Lewis “depicts the devil Screwtape plotting to destroy young minds through a corrupted public education system…[he] outlines Screwtape’s plan for our children. We are living in Screwtape’s world—a world in which nearly all education is state-run education, and the government school system seeks to eradicate all competition, including homeschooling. As Christians, we are at war with Screwtape and his ilk.”

Dr. Youssef advises parents to be aware of these forces at school that seek to reshape their children’s beliefs, and to stay attuned to what their children are being taught. He advises them to ask children questions about their day and what they are learning (dinnertime is an excellent time for these conversations).

Dr. Youssef advises parents to “Empower your children to be bold Christian witnesses at school. Pray with them and help them memorize Scripture. Encourage them to speak openly about their faith. Every day, when you send your children to school, ask for God’s protection over them. Go into your children’s bedroom at night and pray over them as they sleep. Ask God to armor-plate your children against the attacks of Satan and this fallen world.

“We are fighting for the souls of a generation,” says Dr. Youssef, “And the fight goes on.”

“Hope for This Present Crisis” is published by FrontLine, an imprint of Charisma House, and is available through AmazonBarnes and NobleBAMChristianBook.com, and Leading The Way.

Dr. Michael Youssef was born in Egypt and lived in Lebanon and Australia before coming to the United States and fulfilling a childhood dream of becoming an American citizen. He holds degrees from Moore College in Sydney, Australia, and Fuller Theological Seminary in California, with a Ph.D. in social anthropology from Emory University. He founded The Church of The Apostles which was the launching pad for Leading The Way’s international ministry. Dr. Youssef has authored more than 50 books, including popular titles like “Jesus, Jihad and Peace” and “Saving Christianity?”

Dr. Youssef is the host of the popular TV and radio broadcast Leading The Way with Dr. Michael Youssef, which airs more than 13,000 times every week across six continents in 26 languages—reaching audiences in nearly every major city in the world. His programs attract tens of millions of viewers weekly in the U.S. on major TV networks, including TBN, Daystar, Fox Business, Lifetime, GOD TV, CTN, NRB TV, and more.

Equipped with a keen understanding of the Bible, the Middle East, sociological trends in the Western world, and popular Christian worldview issues, Dr. Youssef is a sought-after voice whose expertise is regularly requested on both secular and Christian media, including Huckabee, Fox & Friends, Eric Metaxas, The Hugh Hewitt Show, The Christian Post, Fox News, Hannity, Glenn Beck, The 700 Club, and more. He and his wife reside in Atlanta and have four grown children and ten grandchildren.

Dr. Tim Clinton: The Weakening of American Families is Source of Societal Decay, Cultural Decline

Clinton’s Newest Book, ‘Focus on the Future’ Set for Release on October 5

LYNCHBURG, VA.— Renowned author Dr. Tim Clinton and his upcoming book, Focus on the Future: Your Family, Your Faith, and Your Voice Matter Now More Than Ever,” will equip readers to protect their families, their communities, and their convictions against a culture that increasingly challenges the righteousness of biblical values and Christian faith. The book is scheduled for release on October 5, 2021.

In the book, Clinton is unafraid to speak the truth about the state of the American family and the decline of Christianity in modern culture. Clinton argues, “Christianity has been under assault. In truth, our beliefs, our faith culture, and even our hopes for our country have been targeted by a vast majority of those in Hollywood, the news media, the education system, and the government.”

The result of such an attack on the Christian core of America is clear. Clinton maps a clear progression of loneliness, addiction, violence and abuse in recent years as a direct correlation to the loss of emphasis on Christ and the family unit with a mother and a father.

“There is a real anti-family agenda stridently opposed to the traditional family,” Clinton states. “The institution that has been a bulwark of so much human progress and achievement, a haven of all that is essential to healthy and thriving human beings. God has ordained the family to be an anchor where hearts and hands are fashioned to grow, love, and be loved. Without vital, loving families, people are without belonging, without support of any kind, and without the loving connections that make for healthy souls who can sustain the blows of this life.

“Suffice it to say that the deterioration of the American family is the source of nearly every symptom of cultural decline, from criminal activity to plunging academic performances, from damaged mental health to poor physical health, from rising poverty to shredded social networks.”

As the president of the American Association of Christian Counselors (AACC), Clinton is familiar with these issues, as well as how to address them. In his new book, he reveals:

Recently Released 20th Anniversary Edition of Dr. Michael Youssef’s Book ‘Empowered by Praise’ Encourages Readers to Include Worship in Prayer

ATLANTA — The updated and expanded 20th anniversary edition book, “Empowered By Praise: Experiencing God’s Presence and Power When You Give Him Glory, written by bestselling author Dr. Michael Youssef, was just released on September 7, 2021, and is changing the way people pray.

In his book, Dr. Youssef provides new insights on ways to worship God through prayer. By including praise in daily prayer, Youssef argues, individuals are forced to see who God is in all His glory and adjust their prayers accordingly.

Youssef states, “Your praises will lead you to pray bold prayers. And when you do, God will respond by empowering you with His Holy Spirit so you are strengthened to demonstrate the power of God. Praise leads to faith, which leads to boldness in prayer, which leads to an outpouring of God’s Spirit, which leads to confidence and boldness in action. Praise becomes our solid footing in the face of evil, establishing our hearts so that we cannot be tossed about by ill winds.”

Youssef adds, “Praise empowers our prayers and also builds up our faith so that when we make our petitions before God, we pray with expectancy and confidence that we will receive God’s best.”

The result of this newfound look at prayer, Youssef believes, is that the individual will feel compelled to continue worshipping God through ministry. Once a person is filled with awe and wonder of the power of Christ, the result inevitably will lead to that person committing to more service opportunities.

“The ultimate expression of praise to God is found in the way we live our lives,” Youssef states. “A life that is obedient to the Lord—to His written commandments and to the daily guidance of the Holy Spirit—is a life of praise.

“Start praising God today, and I guarantee you’ll never be the same again. Start praising God today, and you’ll never want to stop!”

Dr. Youssef’s “Empowered by Praise” will guide readers into a richer understanding of admiration for God by showing new ways to give Him glory.

As a beautiful devotional, “Empowered by Praise” features a study guide for individuals and groups. The new, updated book helps readers deepen their wisdom in praising God and energizes their daily practice of praise through practical, easy-to-understand steps. “Empowered By Praise: Experiencing God’s Presence and Power When You Give Him Glory” can be pre-ordered here.

Christianity Is Under Attack as Never Before, Stephen Strang Reveals in His New Book, ‘God and Cancel Culture’

‘This Book Will Help Christians Realize the Seriousness of the Battle Before Us,’ Says Award-Winning Journalist

ORLANDO, Fla. — Stephen E. Strangan award-winning journalist and thefounder of Charisma Media, has just released his new book, “God and Cancel Culture: Stand Strong Before It’s Too Late.” And not a moment too soon.

Strang, a widely read author and Christian businessman who authored “God and Donald Trump” among other books, reveals that legislation that discriminates against Christians is right now underway. He notes that while many people were hoping Christians would be able to ride out the storm, today’s cancel culture is unfortunately hitting everyone, including the most devoted followers of Jesus Christ.

Explains Strang, “The term ‘cancel culture’ applies to conservatives who oppose the politically correct crowd, but it is part of a bigger effort to cancel Christianity and those who espouse biblical principles. Christians are in an unprecedented season of fragmentation, political division, and actual separation on many fronts.”

Strang also makes this point: “The body of Christ is a big, diverse family, and we must choose to cheer one another on, rather than allow ourselves to be divided. My book will help Christians realize the seriousness of the battle before us and illuminate the present circumstance for the purpose of doing good—to bring hope.”

Strang adds, “Retreat is the one thing we must not do. Christians must not lose heart. We must stand strong and not be intimidated. We must pray—and we must believe God for a great awakening.”

In the author’s clear, authoritative style, “God and Cancel Culture” features compelling interviews with an array of prominent leaders and does the following:

  • Documents what is happening in the country right now;
  • Shares how believers can respond;
  • Explains why Christians can look to the future with hope;
  • Helps readers understand that no matter how bad things seem—God always comes through.

Strang says, “We need to understand that what we’re dealing with today is far more sinister than just ‘liberal’ versus ‘conservative.’ We’re seeing the emergence of a uniquely American form of communism: at best, frightening, at worst, murderous—to biblical values, to our way of life, and to individuals it deems ‘less than.’”

“God and Cancel Culture” will help Christians realize the urgency of the battle before them and illuminate the present circumstance for the purpose of doing good—to bring hope. It will document what is happening in the country, how believers can respond, and why they can look expectantly to the future.

Stephen E. Strang is the best-selling author of “God and Donald Trump.” The founder and CEO of Charisma Media, Strang was cited by Time magazine as one of the 25 most influential Evangelicals in America. He has interviewed four U.S. presidents and has been featured on Fox News, CNN, MSNBC, CBN, “Dr. James Dobson’s Family Talk,” in DailyCaller.com, and in many Christian outlets.

“God and Cancel Culture” is published by FrontLine, an imprint of Charisma House, which has published books that challenge, encourage, teach, and equip Christians, including 16 New York Times best-sellers.

The book is available in hardcover, paperback, and e-book formats. It can be ordered at www.stevestrangbooks.com.

Award-Winning Journalist Challenges Christians To Stand Strong Against Cancel Culture

ORLANDO, Fla. — Stephen E. Strangaward-winning journalist andfounder of Charisma Media, announced the forthcoming publication of his latest book, “God and Cancel Culture: Stand Strong Before It’s Too Late,” released on Tuesday, September 7, 2021. Strang is a widely read author and Christian businessman who authored “God and Donald Trump” among his other books.

Says Strang about his new book and the circumstances that led him to write it, “Today, 64 percent of Americans believe cancel culture is a threat to their freedom, according to a Harvard CAPS-Harris poll. Among Republicans, that figure is even higher, at 80 percent. While the term ‘cancel culture’ applies to conservatives who oppose the politically correct crowd, it is part of a bigger effort to cancel Christianity and those who espouse biblical principles. It almost seems this is the beginning of the end—and that Christians are in an unprecedented season of fragmentation, political division and actual separation on many fronts.

“Yet now is not the time for Christians to be divided,” continues Strang. “The body of Christ is a big, diverse family, and we must choose to cheer one another on. This book will help Christians realize the seriousness of the battle before us and illuminate the present circumstance for the purpose of doing good—to bring hope.

  • Helps readers understand that no matter how bad things seem, God always comes through.

Strang says, “We are called according to His purpose. A purpose never goes in reverse. This book will reveal what that looks like in its various forms in the day in which we live. It gives a great handle for promoting unity and appreciation of one another when that is breaking down so badly elsewhere. Indeed, maybe the love Jesus spoke about that makes us recognizable to the world will be seen as this book illuminates the supernatural unity among people of diverse opinions and approaches—while pointedly addressing various hot-button areas.”

“God and Cancel Culture” will help Christians realize the seriousness of the battle before them and illuminate the present circumstance for the purpose of doing good-to bring hope. In Today’s America, Too Many Men ‘Are Not What They Should Be,’ Says Dr. Tim Clinton

Noted Faith Leader, Author of the Compelling New Book ‘Focus on the Future,’ Shares Candid Fixes at a Time of ‘Crisis’

LYNCHBURG, VA.—Talk about laying it on the line at such a fractured, frenzied time in our culture. Talk about nailing a problem on the head so that it can be fully, honestly and immediately addressed.

“Sorry to say it so harshly,” says Dr. Tim Clinton in his new book “Focus on the Future: Your Family, Your Faith, and Your Voice Matter Now More Than Ever (to be released Oct. 5, 2021). But “a fatherless America is at the heart of the men’s crisis and a hundred other dysfunctions society suffers from today because men, for the most part, are not what they should be.”

In a country with enormous cultural challenges right now, Clinton believes Americans face a “generational disconnect, particularly between fathers and sons.”Yet Clinton is not content merely to identify problems. As a respected faith leader, he’s ready with solid solutions for everyone—no matter who or where they are.

“We can turn this around,” Clinton asserts. “Why do I believe this? I believe it because God is real and powerful, and He is reaching out to men today. I believe it because men are miserable living as our secular society has urged them to live, and they are hungry for something more. I believe it because whenever I see a crisis in our society, I know it is an opportunity for biblical truth to prevail.”

Clinton is president of the American Association of Christian Counselors (AACC).

Dr. Clinton also serves as co-host of “Dr. James Dobson’s Family Talk,” heard on nearly 1400 radio outlets daily. Dr. Youssef notes, “Praise is our foremost means of inviting God to take up residence with us and to establish His presence, authority, and purpose in every aspect of our lives.”

“Empowered by Praise” is practical and personal as Dr. Youssef discusses the role of praise in his life. Referencing the real-life applications of our adoration, Dr. Youssef challenges readers, “Praise produces five major benefits in our lives. . . . It reveals our true beliefs, and it refocuses our thinking and feelings. Praise is the route to deep fellowship with God, and it establishes the reign of God in our lives. Finally, praise reinforces the truth of who we are and who God is.

Available today, September 7, “Empowered By Praise: Experiencing God’s Presence and Power When You Give Him Glory” will include a chapter-by-chapter study guide for individuals and small groups.
