God Is Rallying His Troops; Men are Stepping Back into the Ring

“There’s An Army of Men Fed up with Being Beaten Up by Those Who Want to Feminize and Emasculate Them” Says Dr. Tim Clinton in New Book, ‘Take It Back’

LYNCHBURG, VA — “You can feel it in the air, a rumble in the distance like thunder rolling in. It’s an army of men who are fed up with being beaten up by those who want to feminize and emasculate them,” says Dr. Tim Clintonas he explores the issue of godly masculinity amidst the toxic culture today in his new book, co-authored with Max Davis, “Take It Back: Reclaiming Biblical Masculinity – The Heart and Strength of Being a Man.”

“[These men] are tired of living lives of compromise and sin, and the battle lines have been drawn,” Dr. Clinton continued. “Men are stepping back into the ring.”

And, as if all the shaming of traditional men isn’t enough, men who are attempting to live upright, godly lives are being shamed and attacked from another source.

“Godly men are fighting not only a culture that’s against their masculinity and manhood but also the temptations and spiritual tensions of this world set on bringing them down,” says Dr. Tim Clinton.

“We’ve seen that there is a cultural enemy in direct opposition to what we as men are and stand for. This enemy wants society to move on from its Christian heritage to promote its liberal agenda,” says Dr. Clinton. “Behind the scenes of this enemy culture, however, is a very real spiritual force, an actual adversary pulling the strings. Whether you believe it or not, this adversary oversees an entire unseen realm—a hierarchical system that has been in place from the beginning of time, with the sole intent of disrupting God’s plan.

“Toss into the mix stress, fatigue, financial expectations to perform, pressures to be unethical, time demands, and loneliness—not to mention pornographic images pounding them relentlessly from a myriad of sources,” says Dr. Clinton. “Men have never been under attack like they are today.”

Dr. Clinton shares some words of encouragement for those who feel sucker punched, discouraged, and down and out. “Take heart. It’s not too late! God wants you. He’s not finished with you. In fact, your best days as a man lie ahead.

“You’re not alone!” says Dr. Clinton. “God is rallying his troops via the Holy Spirit, and, men are heeding the call and reporting to duty. They are rising up. Heaven and earth are on tiptoe awaiting Spirit-led, Spirit-intoxicated men, brothers, servants, followers of Christ who are willing to stand in the gap for such a time as this. It’s an uprising. Lightning is about to strike!”

In “Take It Back: Reclaiming Biblical Masculinity – The Heart and Strength of Being a Man,” Clinton, president of the American Association of Christian Counselors (AACC), challenges readers to reject the culture’s redefinition and seek biblical examples of true manhood. Fast-paced, filled with relevant, biblical stories of godly men like David and Nehemiah, and contemporary stories of godly men like George Foreman and Tim Tebow, “Take It Back” empowers men to be who God created them to be and to impact the culture that is in desperate need of their influence. Study and discussion questions at the end of each chapter make “Take It Back” a perfect resource for men’s Bible studies and small groups.

Dr. Tim Clinton, EdD, LPC, LMFT, is president of AACC, the largest and most diverse Christian counseling association in the world. Dr. Clinton also serves as co-host of “Dr. James Dobson’s Family Talk,” heard on nearly 1400 radio outlets daily. More States Act to Restrain Dangerous Critical Race Theory

Dr. Michael Youssef in ‘Hope for This Present Crisis’ DiscussesToday’s Classroom Catastrophe

ATLANTA —Critical race theory is only the latest in a series of attacks on public education, but parents have had enough. Some states are listening; Iowa and Florida are the latest. Dr. Michael Youssef discusses the history and current state of American education in his book, “Hope for This Present Crisis” (thepresentcrisis.com).

Critical race theory (CRT) teaches students to look at American society and history through a racial lens and views race itself as a relatively recent social construct weaponized by dominant groups to oppress others. Opponents of CRT say schoolchildren should not be taught that America is fundamentally racist. Supporters contend that federal law has preserved the unequal treatment of people based on race and that the country was founded on the theft of land and labor.

In his book, Hope for This Present Crisis,” Dr. Michael Youssef writes, “All of these destructive forces, and many more, can be traced back to critical theory, which has seized control of most of our major universities. It began in the law schools and spread to the ethnic studies and gender studies departments. Today critical theory infects almost every educational discipline in many universities, from history to music theory to mathematics.”

Florida’s State Board of Education banned CRT over the objections of the Florida Education Association. Florida’s rule also prohibits the use of the discredited and historically inaccurate 1619 Project. Governor DeSantis backed the state Board of Education measure.

Iowa Gov. Kim Reynolds signed House File 802 into law codifying the state’s stance against teaching “specific defined concepts,” such as the widely controversial critical race theory.

Critical race theory is not new. It stems from critical theory, the Marx-inspired body of thought which infiltrated major universities in the 60s, eventually filtering down to K-12 as students of the 60s became educators of the twenty-first century.

Dr. Youssef traces the history of undermining traditional American and Christian values in the classroom.

Youssef writes, “By banning God from classrooms, we have invited a rise in school violence, drug abuse, bullying, depression, and suicide. As Theodore Roosevelt once observed, ‘To educate a man in the mind and not in morals is to educate a menace to society.’”

Youssef continues, “Our schools no longer teach young people how to think for themselves, how to reason, how to live moral and productive lives, or how to recognize propaganda and logical fallacies. Instead, our schools have become godless indoctrination centers.”

It Does NOT Take a Village to Raise a Child – It Takes a Family with God at the Center

“God Already Designed the Perfect Nurturing Environment for a Child,” Says Bestselling Author Dr. Michael Youssef in Newest Book, “Hope for This Present Crisis”

ATLANTA — Bestselling author Dr. Michael Youssef offers atimely reminder for Father’s Day. In his latest book, “Hope for This Present Crisis,” Dr. Youssef warns parents not to fall for the old African proverb that says it takes a village to raise a child.

“The modern-day ‘village’ in this proverb is all society, including schools, houses of worship, doctors, and businesses, but most of all, government programs. Some have used this idea to advocate for various laws, regulations, welfare state programs, and taxpayer support of ‘family planning’ organizations (i.e., Planned Parenthood),” says Dr. Youssef.

Instead, Dr. Youssef offers the words of wise King Solomon in Psalm 127:3, which form the basis for the solution, even for parents in the 21st century: “Children are a heritage from the Lord, offspring a reward from him.”

“The psalmist tells us that unless God is at the center of the family, the family is adrift,” says Dr. Youssef. “Unless God is at the center of our family life, our children will be unsafe, insecure, and in danger.”

The reason is that the “village” of today surrounding our families is a godless village.

“Prayer has been banned from schools, so the schools cannot help families put God at the center. Welfare state programs cannot help families put God at the center. Planned Parenthood is certainly not going to help families put God at the center. Doctors and businesses are not equipped to help families put God at the center,” says Dr. Youssef.

“So, the ‘village’ is essentially godless and useless. A godless village can only produce godless children.

“I submit that it does not take a village to raise a child. God already designed the perfect nurturing environment for a child. It’s called the family. It is pointless to talk about caring for the needs of children while we do nothing to strengthen the family.”

In his book, Dr. Youssef points out four wonderful results that occur when God is at the center of the family:

  1. God grows the family—When God builds the house, when God is at the center of the home, the family will grow in faith, character, and maturity.
  2. God blesses the family—Children who are blessed—and children who are a blessing—are brought up to know the Lord. Only when we raise children to love God, to honor their father and mother, and to obey God’s Word, are they blessed to be a blessing to others.
  3. God guides the family—As we grow in our understanding of God’s parenting of us [throughout Scripture], we gain parenting wisdom directly from God. We will never achieve God-like perfection as parents, but we will have the best guidance a parent could have.
  4. God protects the family—We have an even greater Guardian than the police or the fire department. That Guardian’s name is Jesus. He sends his angels to minister to our families. Unless He is watching over us, all other guardians are in vain.

“To revitalize the family,” says Dr. Youssef, “keep God at the center.”

Progressive Christians are Wolves Disguised as Sheep, Devouring the Church from Within

“To Progressive Christians, Jesus is a Way, but not the Way” Warns Bestselling Author Dr. Michael Youssef in Newest Book, “Hope for This Present Crisis”

ATLANTA  In his newest book, “Hope for This Present Crisis,” bestselling author Dr. Michael Youssef notes the disturbing trend in modern Christianity of many orthodox Christians abandoning thousands of years of orthodox Christian doctrine and tradition in favor of the new woke, progressive agenda promoted by the world today.

“Whereas orthodox Christianity is now labeled intolerant and narrow minded, progressive Christianity has taken hold of our society and gained popularity because it makes no moral judgements against sin and aligns with the dominant secular-left political agenda,” says Dr. Youssef.

While it certainly feels a lot easier to go along with the crowd, this is not the Christianity that Christ preached in the Gospel.

“These so-called progressive Christians do not hold to the Lord’s teaching. They openly reject everything Jesus said about His blood, His death, and His atonement for sin,” says Dr. Youssef. “They openly reject His claim to be the way, the truth, the life—the only way to God the Father. To them, Jesus is a way, but not the way.”

Dr. Youssef’s book notes some helpful signs to watch out for, since these hidden “Progressives” can look and speak like orthodox Christians, but their words have very different meanings. For example, “Progressive Christians say they believe that God is love. So do we, because God loved the world so much that He gave His only Son to die on the cross for us. But progressive Christians don’t believe the cross is an expression of God’s love. Instead, they teach that a loving God would never punish sinners or judge sin or condemn an unrepentant, unbelieving sinner to hell,” says Dr. Youssef.

That would be too harsh, progressive Christians object, in an attempt to be approved by the dying world.

“Progressive Christians say they believe in the resurrection. So do we. But if you press them about whether they affirm that the resurrection was a literal, physical, historical event, they will tell you that the resurrection of Jesus is a powerful spiritual metaphor, and a metaphor doesn’t have to be literal and historical to convey important truth.”

This can go on and on, with progressive Christians using the same words, but with very different meanings. With our society’s adamant demands for political correctness, they have fallen for the age-old trap of being esteemed by one’s peers—but at what cost? Unfortunately, what appears easier in the short run ends up being detrimental in the long run.

“If you adopt a secular social and political agenda, the world will love you,” says Dr. Youssef. “You’ll have many friends in this fallen and dying world. But the price you will pay is a state of enmity between you and God.”

For this reason, these progressive Christians act as proverbial wolves in sheep’s clothing, devouring the church from within. With the church’s foundations actively being destroyed, what can the righteous do?

“It sometimes takes a great deal of discernment to distinguish a progressive Christian from an orthodox, Bible-believing, evangelical Christian,” says Dr. Youssef.

The best place to start is to learn your faith. Read the Scripture to see what Jesus did and taught.

Jesus warned,“Watch out for false prophets. They come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ferocious wolves. By their fruit you will recognize them…Do people pick grapes from thornbushes, or figs from thistles? Likewise, every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit” (Matt. 7:15–17).”

We must do what Christians have done since the early days of Christianity: Stand firm for the truth, and hold fast to Jesus’ teaching. As Dr. Youssef advises:

“Ask God to strengthen you as you contend for His truth at home, at work, and in your community. Ask God to empower you to witness boldly for His truth,” says Dr. Youssef. “Pray that He will give you the wisdom and discernment to resist the alluring falsehoods of progressive Christianity and other forms of apostasy so prevalent today. If you hold to the teachings of Jesus, then you will know His truth, and His truth will set you free.”

Real Men Get Back Up—You’re Never Out of the Fight

LYNCHBURG, VA.— Dr. Tim Clinton helpsmen bounce back after failure with his usual encouragement and godly advice in his new book, co-authored with Max Davis, “Take It Back: Reclaiming Biblical Masculinity – The Heart and Strength of Being a Man.”

“The human condition involves making mistakes, and men have been running in the wrong direction for far too long, hanging their heads in shame over past mistakes that have given them an unflattering label,” says Dr. Clinton.

He uses football player Roy Riegels’ story to illustrate his point:

In the 1929 Rose Bowl game in Pasadena, California, in front of 60,000 screaming fans, “California’s Roy Riegels scooped up a Georgia Tech fumble and began running like an Olympic sprinter toward the goal line,” says Dr. Clinton. “There was only one problem: Riegels ran 69 yards in the wrong direction!”

Finally taken down by one of his own teammates at the one-yard line, Riegels was so upset and humiliated by his mistake that he felt there was no way he could show his face before the crowd, much less play another down.

“On the bench all he could do was hang his head in shame,” said Dr. Clinton.

“‘Roy, get up and go back,’ his coach ordered. ‘The game is only half over!’

“We can stay on the bench after our screwups, with our heads hung in shame, or we can rise up, get back in the game, and let God ‘flip the script’ of our lives,” says Dr. Clinton. “Ashamed and distraught, yet urged on by his coach and teammates, Riegels somehow willed himself back in the game. Not only did he play again, but he turned in an all-star performance.”

It takes great courage and strength to overcome the terror of showing our faces after such a humiliating mistake. It seems impossible, yet through his strong faith and with the support of his teammates bolstering him, Riegels was able to go on to achieve success. And, despite the fact that his gaffe cost his team the game, Riegels went on to serve as a major in the United States Army Air Corps in World War II, and after the war became a successful businessman. Motivational speakers love telling his story to encourage their listeners that overcoming mistakes, even seemingly tragic ones, is still possible with God’s help. His story serves as a strong reminder that even though men make mistakes in all areas of their lives, the only way to recover from those mistakes is to “get up and go back.” But how does a man find the inner strength to do this?

As Dr. Clinton writes in “Take It Back,” a lesson can be applied in all areas of men’s lives—even in issues of morality and sin. This is even more meaningful today, especially when dealing with startling statistics such as these:

  • A 2010–2016 survey reported that 20 percent of husbands have affairs, with higher percentages among older married men.
  • A survey reported that 74 percent of all married men said they would have an affair if they would never get caught.
  • A 2016 Barna study reported that 64 percent of Christian men view pornography at least once a month, and 21 percent say they are addicted.
  • One in five youth pastors and one in seven senior pastors use pornography regularly.

“Men are in deep trouble with sin. And sin doesn’t just destroy our own souls. It destroys our relationships, our families, and the souls of the ones we love most,” says Dr. ClintonWhen we don’t step up and turn away from ungodliness, sin rules us, and the consequences are frightening.

“Only by living through the power of the Holy Spirit can a man fulfill the purpose for which he was designed,” continued Dr. Clinton. “We need to let go of the shame because of our screwups, get back in the game, and play our hearts out!

“Men, we have a choice. We can give in to sin and toxic behavior, or we can embrace righteousness. We can stay on the bench after our screwups with our heads hung in shame, or we can rise up, get back in the game, and let God flip the script of our lives.”

Men: How to Get “Dialed In” and Back in Sync With God

“Men Today Need to Know Where to Get Strength and Empowerment for Forgiveness and Cleansing,” Says Dr. Tim Clinton in New Book, ‘Take It Back’

LYNCHBURG, VA — “At a point where many men would sink into a deep pit of depression or even consider suicide, David got dialed in,” says Dr. Tim Clinton, as he explores the Biblical story of David in his new book, co-authored with Max Davis, “Take It Back: Reclaiming Biblical Masculinity – The Heart and Strength of Being a Man.”

When someone is dialed in, it means that person has a clear line. The static has been eliminated. It’s not always easy to get there, but it’s worth it. The blinders are removed, and the way becomes clear.

Clinton sets the stage: “Imagine the scene. Their city had been decimated. [David’s] wife and children have been kidnapped, and his followers want to kill him (1 Samuel 30).”

Although David was feeling the same trauma as his men, the shepherd-warrior future king fell back on his roots. Although he was devastated, defeated, and disliked at that moment, David knew where his source of empowerment lay.

“David turned back to the fundamentals, back to his true source of strength, and got in position to receive a clear signal,” Dr. Clinton says. “He wept again, but instead of cries of grief, he cried out to his God: ‘David was greatly distressed…But David strengthened himself in the Lord his God’ (1 Sam. 30:6, niv).”

David could strengthen himself in the Lord that way because he knew the Lord.

“David’s foundation, strength, and security were rooted in the Lord, not in his circumstances, in his failures or victories, or even in his relationships with others, including his parents,” says Dr. Clinton. “He could encourage himself in the Lord because the Lord was his source.”

Always ready with a sports analogy, Dr. Clinton drives his point home to his target audience: “In sports, when you are out of sync, you get back to the fundamentals. Getting back to the fundamentals of your game is like getting rid of the static or getting back into position to receive a clear signal,” he says.

This is exactly what happened to David. He got back to the fundamentals with his God and got back in sync. He got dialed in. As a result, his whole countenance was transformed. Then David found out what God’s perfect will was for the dilemma of Ziklag.

In the same way, today’s men can find out what God’s perfect will is for their modern-day dilemmas.

“Men today need to know where to get strength and empowerment for forgiveness and cleansing,” says Dr. Clinton. “It’s not online or at a ball game or even hanging with the guys. Sometimes you have to leave the crowd, get alone with God, and cry out to Him until you find Him—and don’t let go until your empowerment and transformation come.”

So, despite today’s complicated world, the answer is low-tech and simple: “Men, get back to the fundamentals,” says Dr. Clinton. “Get dialed in and experience transformation.”

In “Take It Back: Reclaiming Biblical Masculinity – The Heart and Strength of Being a Man,” Clinton, president of the American Association of Christian Counselors (AACC), challenges readers to reject the culture’s redefinition and seek biblical examples of true manhood. Progressive Christianity Denies God’s Truth

In Newest Book, “Hope for This Present Crisis,” Bestselling Author Dr. Michael YoussefWarns that Progressive Christians Have Abandoned the Lord’s Teaching

ATLANTA — Many so-called Christians today have abandoned the teachings of Jesus and the Bible and taken on a belief system that denies the power of the cross and the infallibility of the Word of God. In his new book,“Hope for This Present Crisis, Dr. Michael Youssef writesWhy do they deny two thousand years of orthodox Christian doctrine and tradition? I believe it’s because many of today’s false teachers want to be accepted and admired by the world. They don’t want to be lumped in with all those ‘rigid,’ ‘narrow-minded,’ ‘intolerant’ evangelical Christians. They want to be admired for their ‘enlightened,’ ‘open-minded,’ ‘inclusive’ approach to religion.

“These false teachers often label themselves ‘progressive Christians’ or ‘postmodern Christians’ or ‘post-evangelical Christians’ or ‘the emerging church.’ It sometimes takes a great deal of discernment to distinguish a progressive Christian from an orthodox, Bible-believing, evangelical Christian. Why? Because progressive Christians use the same words we use—but with very different meanings.”

Dr. Youssef points to the following progressive Christian “facts” that his readers should consider:

  • Progressive Christians say they believe the Bible is divinely inspired, but they do not mean it is the Spirit-breathed, infallible Word of God. They mean it is inspired the same way the plays of Shakespeare and the poems of Emily Dickinson are “inspired.”
  • Progressive Christians say they believe that God is love. But progressive Christians do not believe the cross is an expression of God’s love. Instead, they teach that a loving God would never punish sinners or judge sin or condemn an unrepentant, unbelieving sinner to hell.
  • Progressive Christians say they believe in the authority of Scripture. But they claim that Scripture has been misunderstood and misapplied for the last two thousand years of Christian history. They see themselves as the first Christians in history to understand what the Bible means, and which parts should be obeyed or ignored.
  • Progressive Christians say they believe in the resurrection. But if pressed, they will tell you that the resurrection of Jesus is a powerful spiritual metaphor, and a metaphor doesn’t have to be literal and historical to convey important truth.

“Our fallen, dying culture loves and approves of progressive Christianity, because this false form of ‘Christianity’ makes no moral judgments against sin and is perfectly aligned with a worldly, secular-left political agenda,” warns Dr. Youssef. “If you want to be approved by this dying world, simply abandon the foundational truths of Christianity: the Bible is the Word of God, we are saved by grace through faith in the atoning death of Jesus Christ, Jesus arose and is seated at the right hand of God the Father, and is coming again to judge the world. Then replace the Christian Gospel with a secular-left agenda of identity politics, climate change, unrestricted abortion and infanticide, LGBTQ politics, Darwinism, and on and on. Then tell the world, ‘This secular-left political agenda is real Christianity—those two-thousand-year-old dogmas from the Bible are fake.’

“If you adopt a secular social and political agenda, the world will love you. You’ll have many friends in this fallen and dying world. But the price you will pay is a state of enmity between you and God. Jesus said, ‘If you hold to my teaching, you are really my disciples’ (John 8:31). These so-called progressive Christians do not hold to the Lord’s teaching. They openly reject everything Jesus said about His blood, His death, and His atonement for sin. They openly reject His claim to be the way, the truth, the life—the only way to God the Father. To them, Jesus is a way, but not the way.

“Jesus warned against false prophets, claiming that though they appeared to be sheep, they were in fact wolves, seeking to devour their prey (Matt. 7:15-17). Today false teachers who claim to be Christians attack the foundations of Christianity. Wolves disguised as sheep are devouring the church from within.”

Toxic Behavior Versus Toxic Masculinity

New Book by Tim Clinton, ‘Take It Back,’ Explains That ‘Men Can Change by the Power of God’

LYNCHBURG, VA.— No doubt, men’s behavior can be toxic, or sinful if you want to put it another way. Society’s answer to this dilemma has been to label masculinity as toxic and to emasculate and feminize men. Justin Trudeau, the prime minister of Canada, said that he is raising his children, including his two sons, as feminists “to change our culture of sexism.”

In their new book, “Take It Back: Reclaiming Biblical Masculinity – The Heart and Strength of Being a Man,” Dr. Tim Clinton and Max Davis write that while this is the world’s solution, it is not working. “Instead it’s destroying men. While much of the behavior of many (not all) men is toxic, their masculinity is not. Men can change—and are changing—by the power of God. And that starts by dealing with our sin problem.

“Make no mistake about it—there is a culture of sexism and toxic behavior, even in the church. Women have been experiencing hurtful behavior by men for years. If you feel a sense of injustice to women, that’s the Spirit of God rising up in you. Jesus treated women with dignity and respect. The Word of God commands it. The good news is, men, you have a choice. You do not have to be ruled by toxic behavior, which is sin. Your masculinity is not sinful; it is good. Embrace it. The strength that can be used to mistreat women is the same strength and power that can be used to protect them, stand up for them (when you see wrongdoing by other males), and cherish them.

“Harness your masculinity for good. Strength under control is a strength that can be used for good. [Remember] that negative labels and statistics do not have to define what a man is or what a man can become—even if he has messed up or has exhibited toxic behavior.”

In “Take It Back,” Clinton, president of the American Association of Christian Counselors (AACC), challenges readers to reject the culture’s redefinition and seek biblical examples of true manhood.

Licensed as a Professional Counselor and as a Marriage and Family Therapist, Dr. Clinton is recognized as a world leader in mental health and relationship issues and spends much of his time working with Christian leaders and professional athletes. He has authored or edited nearly 30 books. Dr. Clinton and his wife, Julie, have two children, and a granddaughter.

Max Davis is the author of over 30 books that have been featured in USA Today, Publisher’s Weekly, Bible Gateway, and on The Today Show and The 700 Club. He holds degrees in journalism and biblical studies. In addition to his own works, he’s done a variety of collaboration projects with highly notable leaders.

“Take It Back” was released on April 6, by Charisma House, which publishes books that challenge, encourage, teach and equip Christians.

Dr. Youssef: Failing to Adhere to Biblical Truth Will Be Devastating to Future Generations

In Newest Book, “Hope for This Present Crisis,” Bestselling Author Dr. Michael Youssef Says ‘Wokeness is a Religion Without Grace or Mercy’

ATLANTA — According to Dr. Michael Youssefif the Church fails to adhere to biblical truth, the consequences of wokeness will be devastating for future generations. The bestselling  author compares child-rearing to a “three-legged stool,” stressing the importance of a healthy home, church, and school environment.

“The home is number one, the church is number two and school is number three,” said Dr. Youssef. “Even if the school is working against the kids, if they have the strength in the home and in the church, they will make it. But when the church avoids talking about issues or goes along with culture, then kids are confused.

“Satan is working overtime to deceive children. If these words are terrifying, I’m glad they are because it’s time for us to build the fences around our children and their hearts and seal them with the Holy Spirit.

“Children must know that there is a Satan and he hates God, he hates God’s children, and he’s conspiring against them every minute of every day. Therefore, they have to galvanize themselves with the power of the Holy Spirit and the Word of God, in order to fight.”

In“Hope for This Present Crisis,”Dr. Michael Youssef provides a diagnosis of the insanity of the current culture and a concise seven-step prescription for restoring sanity to a world gone mad. The new book is available through AmazonBarnes and NobleBAMChristianBook.com, and Leading The Way.

Dr. Youssef describes wokeness for his readers. “Wokeness is a religion. It has no God, but it has all the other trappings of a bullying, self-righteous, pharisaic religion. It demands absolute faith and mindless obedience. It has creeds and dogmas that no one dares to violate. Its doctrines can change without warning, and any who don’t get the memo will be stoned as heretics.

“People who transgress the rules of the wokeness religion may spend a lifetime atoning for their sin – but they’ll never be forgiven. Wokeness is a religion without grace or mercy.”

The Magic of Fiber: Dr. Don Colbert Explains How This Power Tool Leads to Optimum Gut Health

In His Latest Book, ‘Dr. Colbert’s Healthy Gut Zone,’ Dr. Colbert SaysThat Most People Need More Fiber

DALLAS — Arecent study concluded that increasing fiber in one’s diet improves health. The results of this study would not surprise Dr. Don Colbertwho, in his newest book, “Dr. Colbert’s Healthy Gut Zone” (DrColbertBooks), writes that if adults work to restore their gut health with fiber and eat the same gut-friendly foods, it is likely every single person would see improvement.

“That is how powerful the gut is,” Dr. Colbert says. “Once it is restored, it can put the rest of your body back together again. Of the five power tools I recommend for improving your gut health—fiber, probiotics, prebiotics, polyphenols, and resistant starches—fiber is one of the most important and adding more of it into your diet is a good place to start in healing your gut.”

How then do you get enough fiber? Dr. Colbert’s top recommendation for soluble fiber intake is psyllium husk powder. Psyllium is mainly a soluble fiber with some insoluble fiber from the seed husks of the plant Plantago ovata.

According to Dr. Colbert, one teaspoon of psyllium husk powder after breakfast and/or dinner will usually do the trick, as long as the patient is drinking sufficient amounts of water (at least eight cups per day).

Because fiber absorbs water, it increases the volume of your stools and helps move it all quickly through your GI tract. “Your body needs a quick process,” Dr. Colbert says. “Anything longer than the normal three-day cycle has the potential to cause you problems.

“Fiber is often called ‘roughage’ or ‘bulk,’ but it is far more than that. Your body desperately needs sufficient fiber every day, but most people are getting less than half of the fiber they need on a daily basis. Eventually, aim for 25–35 grams a day, and you can’t go wrong. Add that to sufficient water intake, and you will often begin to see the magic of fiber after a week or two.”

Dr. Colbert’s newest book is available through AmazonBarnes and NobleBAMChristianBookIndiebound and Walmart.

Don Colbert, MD, was a board-certified family practice doctor for more than twenty-five years in Orlando, Florida, and most recently in Dallas, Texas. He is also board certified in antiaging medicine through the American Academy of AntiAging Medicine and has received extensive training in nutritional and preventative medicine. He is the author of three New York Times best-selling books, including “Let Food Be Your Medicine,” “The Seven Pillars of Health” and “Dr. Colbert’s ‘I Can Do This’ Diet” along with best sellers “Toxic Relief,” the Bible Cure series, “Living in Divine Health,” and “Stress Less.”He has sold more than ten million books and treated more than fifty thousand patients in his years of practicing medicine.

“Dr. Colbert’s Healthy Gut Zone” is published by Siloam, an imprint of Charisma House.
