In “Hope for This Present Crisis,” Bestselling Author Dr. Michael Youssef Tells Parents They Must Fight for the Souls of an Entire Generation

In His New Book Releasing March 2, Dr. Youssef Stresses the Need to Reestablish the Classroom During the Pandemic

ATLANTA At a time when parents are faced with a pandemic-forced virtual school day or even a hybrid education schedule for their families, Dr. Michael Youssef sees the need for parents to be vigilant advocates for their children and reestablish the classroom. In his new book, “Hope for This Present Crisis,” Dr. Youssef addresses the infiltration of anti-Christian propaganda, the infiltration of the secular/liberal agenda and the problem of the suppression of First Amendment rights in our nation’s schools.

“The Founding Fathers wrote the First Amendment to protect the very rights that are being suppressed by public schools across America,” states Dr. Youssef. “The First Amendment guarantees a student’s right to express his or her religious beliefs, openly and in front of other students, to voluntarily pray and read the Bible on school grounds, and to wear religious symbols, such as a cross.

“Unfortunately, school administrators and teachers have been bombarded by propaganda from radical anti-Christian organizations like the Freedom From Religion Foundation and the American Civil Liberties Union. As a result, the same First Amendment that was written to defend us from such abuses is used to deny our children their freedom of religion and speech.”

Dr. Youssef describes a “fight for the souls of an entire generation” and shares how parents can help win the battle, by incorporating specific approaches into their everyday family life. In “Hope for This Present Crisis,” he lists afew of those methods parents can use:

1. Encourage your children to be witnesses for Jesus at school. They have a First Amendment right to share their faith, to write papers about God, to wear Christian symbols, etc.

2. Tune in to what your children are learning at schoolAt dinnertime, engage them in conversations about their day and their school subjects. Ask questions and listen attentively to everything they say.

3. If the public school does not offer your child a good education, consider a private Christian school or homeschooling. This commitment might just give your child a significant advantage in life.

4. Pray for your children before, during, and after school. Ask God to watch over them physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. Ask Him to safeguard your children from the destructive influence of Satan and this fallen world.
