Rabbi Kirt A. Schneider utilizes Hebrew methods of prophecy to point to Christ as Messiah in new book,  ‘Messianic Prophecy Revealed

‘To understand how Jesus fulfilled the Old Testament, we must open our minds to a Hebraic, Eastern way of thinking that is sometimes foreign to our Westernized mindset’

COLUMBUS, Ohio  Acclaimed author Rabbi Kirt A. Schneider’s latest book, “Messianic Prophecy Revealed,” gives an in-depth analysis of Messianic prophecy and gives readers the tools needed to understand the Old Testament. Rabbi Schneider has long been deciphering biblical text and identifying the Messianic prophecies found throughout Scripture. His latest book takes readers on a journey through the Word of God, showing them how the New Testament writers took passages out of the Old Testament to prove that Jesus truly is the Messiah.

There are hundreds of Old Testament prophecies that all point to and were fulfilled by Jesus Christ. However, it can be difficult to understand — or even identify — these prophecies without proper guidance. When the Gospel writers quote Old Testament scriptures and tell how Jesus fulfilled them, some of the scriptures quoted don’t appear to be prophecies at all. This is because understanding Messianic prophecy is often more of an art than a science.

“Messianic prophecy is not simply the measurement of specific prophecies about the future that Yeshua fulfilled,” Rabbi Schneider stated. “This flat, one-dimensional way of thinking about Scripture in general and Messianic prophecy in particular is foreign to the rabbinic way and the approach to Scripture that Messiah Jesus knew and practiced Himself. In fact, understanding Messianic prophecy involves both art and science, both poetry and math.

To understand how Jesus fulfilled the Old Testament, we must open our minds to a Hebraic, Eastern way of thinking that is sometimes foreign to our Westernized mindset.”

In the book, Rabbi Schneider identifies various aspects of Christ and reveals how they fulfill the many Old Testament prophecies, identifying Him as the long-awaited Messiah.

Rabbi Schneider said, “Rather than simply looking at how Yeshua fulfilled certain predictive Messianic prophecies, I want you to see that Jesus filled the entire Old Testament up with meaning. He carried the meaning of the Hebrew Scriptures to their fullest expression. This is why Messiah Jesus said, ‘Do not think that I came to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I did not come to abolish but to fulfill.’

“After reading this book, you will have no doubts that Jesus is the Messiah, and you will be able to read the Old Testament with the newfound revelation that God has been pointing to His Son as the Savior of the world for thousands of years.”
