The vengeance of the gods; Jonathan Cahn’s latest bestseller, ‘The Return of the Gods,’ reveals ancient battle for the soul of America

NEW YORK  Ancient gods have returned and are wreaking havoc across America. After the rise of Christianity ousted them from their previous kingdoms, these ancient deities are seeking vengeance against those who cast them out — and it starts in America.

In his explosive new book, “The Return of the Gods,” bestselling author Jonathan Cahn outlines how America’s turning away from God has opened the door to dark entities that are at work at this very moment, transforming the nation and Western civilization. Since the book’s release, “The Return of the Gods” hit No. 2 on the New York Times Bestsellers List — Cahn’s highest ranking ever — as well as No. 2 in the Hardcover Frontlist Nonfiction category on the Publishers Weekly bestsellers list, and No. 2 in nonfiction combined on the Wall Street Journal bestsellers list.

In the book, Cahn outlines how the Dark Trinity — three specific gods of old — have changed American culture and are working in all the chaos that is taking place, from initiating social upheavals and cultural revolutions to maneuvering politics and world events.

“As the gods had thrived in a pre-Christian age, they would now seek to usher in a post-Christian age,” writes Cahn. “And as the entrance of Christianity brought about the casting out of the gods from Western civilization, then upon their reentering, they would seek to bring about the casting out of Christianity from Western civilization.”

Cahn points out that these ancient gods could only return by casting out that by which they had themselves been cast out: the Spirit of God.

“As the gods had been driven out of the mainstream culture of the ancient world, they would now seek to drive God and those who followed Him out of the mainstream of modern culture,” Cahn writes. “As the gods had once been driven to the margins and shadows of their culture, they would now seek to drive Christians to the margins, to the shadows, to the closets and catacombs of modern culture.”

How would these ancient beings achieve this goal? “They would seek to gain control of the young,” Cahn writes. “And they would do so through the media, television, the internet, and the classroom. At the same time, the gods would attack the transmission of the Christian faith from parent to child and from teacher to student in Christian schools and universities. As they had once been cut off from influencing the young and cast out by a new generation, the gods would now seek to cut off the young from the Christian faith and to use the new generation to cast out the Christian faith and bring Judeo-Christian civilization to an end.”

But there is hope for those who stand strong in the Lord, according to Cahn“All who are called by His name can take encouragement, heart, strength, hope, and courage to live unbowed in the face of the gods,” Cahn explains. “It is time to be strong and of good courage. It is time to be bold. It is time to let go

of all fear and concern and to take a stand against the darkness and for the light.

“The darkness will end, but the light will be forever,” he concludes. “And so as it is written, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might, for greater, much greater, is He who is in you than he who is in the world.”

The Return of the Gods” promises to take readers on a fascinating, unforgettable, and mind-blowing journey that will leave them stunned and with the ability to see the world as they never have before.

Jonathan Cahn’s latest book, ‘The Return of the Gods,’ reveals the ancient mystery that lies behind wokeism in America

‘The Return of the Gods’ hit New York Times, Wall Street Journal, USA Today, Publishers Weekly bestsellers lists

NEW YORK  Is it possible that ancient entities known as the “gods” have returned to our world? Could they be the hidden agents transforming modern culture? Could the growing movement to curtail free speech in the West, whether in the form of political correctness, wokeism, or cancel culture, be connected to the mystery of these gods?

Bestselling author Jonathan Cahn’s latest book, “The Return of the Gods,” outlines America’s turning away from God and identifies the dark entities that are at work at this very moment to transform the nation and Western civilization.

Cahn takes readers on a journey through time, beginning with the ancient entities known in the Bible as the shedim. The word shedim stands for the spirits and dark entities that lie behind the gods and idols of the pagan world.

These spirits never merely aim for toleration but domination. In other words, they have returned to reign. “In ancient times they had reigned over the cultures in which they were enshrined,” Cahn writes. “But when those cultures turned to God, the gods were forced to abdicate, to leave their thrones and go into exile. Having returned, they would again lift their scepters and aspire to mastery and dominion.”

Cahn says that it was through a spirit of tolerance and openness that the gods gained entrance into the culture of ancient Israel. But once their worship and cult became widespread and established, everything changed. The righteous were persecuted as lawlessness reigned.

“The gods sought total domination,” Cahn says. “Anyone and anything that stood in the way was to be eliminated. They warred against God and His people and anyone who upheld the former ways. The gods used all means at their disposal: the power of culture, the power of state, and the power of the occult. Those who held to and upheld the ways of God were branded as troublemakers, agitators, and enemies of the state.”

What happened in Israel is currently happening in America, Cahn states. The earlier tolerance would be replaced by a new “enlightened” intolerance. It would manifest as political correctness, then wokeness, and cancel culture. Every word that could now be interpreted as expressing dissent from the newly sanctioned view was subject to judgment and censure. Anything that could be interpreted as challenging or differing from the new morality had to be canceled.

What about those who remain faithful to the Gospel? “As for those who had defied their dominion and would not bow their knee,” he says, “the gods would pass the same judgment on them as they had on those who resisted them in ancient times — there would be no room for them in the dominion of the gods.”

However, faith in Christ is the only surefire method to survive the ancient onslaught. “The only way to live is by the power of God,” writes Cahn. “It is only by His power that one can stand against the gods. It is only by His love that one can overcome all hatred. Only by His grace can one overcome all sin. Only by His hand can one break the chains of all bondage. And only by His light can one overcome the darkness of the age. In days of darkness the light must not waver or weaken but must grow stronger. And if the dark grows darker still, then the light must shine all the more brightly into it. And those who will not give up will, in the end, prevail.”

The Return of the Gods” promises to take readers on a fascinating, unforgettable, and mind-blowing journey that will leave them stunned and with the ability to see the world as they never have before.

Jonathan Cahn’s new book, ‘The Return of the Gods,’ unveils the ‘dark trinity’ wreaking havoc in today’s world

NEW YORK Is it possible that ancient gods have come back and are behind what is currently happening in America? Could their existence be transforming culture, families, children, businesses, government, technology — and even our very lives?

New York Times bestselling author Jonathan Cahn — author of “The Harbinger,” “The Oracle,” “The Mystery of the Shemitah,” and more —examines these chilling questions and more in his explosive new book, The Return of the Gods.In the groundbreaking book, Cahn takes readers on a journey from an ancient parable to the ancient inscriptions in Sumer, Assyria, and Babylonia that become the puzzle pieces behind what is taking place in the world to this day, specifically in America.

Cahn promises to start to uncover ancient prophecies of old, as well as how they affect America today. “We will remove the veil to uncover the first and most important revelation underlying the mystery of the gods. We will see the ancient transformation concerning the gods that changed world history. We will open up a two-thousand-year-old warning involving a house of spirits and what it foretells concerning the modern world. We will then see how the gods of the ancient mystery have come into our world. We will uncover the dark trinity — and how it has changed our culture. We will reveal how the gods are working and moving in all that is taking place around us, how they are initiating social upheavals and cultural revolutions, indwelling our politics, transforming our world — and even our lives. Finally, we will open up the meaning and significance of it all, what it portends, what it will lead to, and what we need to know and do in light of it.”

In the book, Cahn identifies three key ancient gods who are at work at this very moment — a dark trinity that embody the apostasy itself: the Possessor, the Enchantress, and the Destroyer. These three spirits worked together in a progression of seduction, with the Possessor ushering in the Enchantress, then the Enchantress ushering in the Destroyer.

The Possessor was the first. To the nation of Israel, according to Cahn, he was the embodiment of paganism and of all pagan gods. He was the other god, the substitute god, and he warred against the true God. He was the god that Israel turned to when it turned away from the Almighty God.

But the Possessor was not alone, Cahn warns. He had a wife known as the Enchantress. “In some ancient mythologies of the Middle East, she was the goddess of sexuality and, specifically, of sexual immorality,” says Cahn. “She was a seducer, a temptress, the goddess who captivated, allured, and snatched away. As the patron goddess of the tavern, or alehouse, she was associated with the partaking of alcohol, particularly of beer. She dwelled in the taverns and mixed sexuality with intoxication.”

This sexualization of Israel is exactly what is happening in America today. “When the spirit of the Enchantress came to America, the same dynamics [of old] began to replay,” Cahn writes. “Sexuality was deified. That which was once the exclusive domain of husband and wife now spilled into the public sphere and popular culture,” encompassing modern media, education, politics, and even into the family unit.

“The Return of the Gods” promises to take readers on a fascinating, unforgettable, and mind-blowing journey that will leave them stunned and with the ability to see the world as they never have before.

The ancient mystery behind the rainbow; Jonathan Cahn reveals surprising and stunning secret behind the sign that is saturating modern culture

NEW YORK The ancient gods are back — and now they’re dominating the culture of America. Is it possible that behind one of the most prevalent and ubiquitous symbols of America and the modern world lies a dark and ancient mystery?

In his mind-blowing new book, “The Return of the Gods,” bestselling author Jonathan Cahn outlines how America’s turning away from God has opened the door to dark entities that are at work at this very moment, transforming the nation and Western civilization.

According to Cahn, these ancient gods have been the catalysts for some of the most prevalent unbiblical movements in America. Perhaps the most prevalent and dominant sign of modern culture is that of the rainbow.  It appears everywhere — on flags, on t-shirts, in commercials, on corporate logos, on American embassies, on children’s cartoons, and even on cereal boxes. Is it possible that behind this ever-present sign lies a dark secret linked to ancient paganism and an ancient entity?

“A strange thing has happened to America and Western civilization,” writes Cahn. “It has become saturated with the sign of the rainbow. Did you ever wonder why? It goes back to the tablets of ancient Sumer and Babylon. It has to do with the goddess known as the Enchantress. And it contains a specific mystery that would surprise and shock those who hear it.”

The Enchantress was a goddess of the sky, queen of heaven, master of tempests, hurler of lightning bolts, and giver of rain. She once had a different name, according to Cahn. An ancient Elamite inscription that records her name with a title in front of it — the word manzatManzat means “rainbow.” The Enchantress that came to America was the “Rainbow Goddess.”

She was also known as the goddess of sexuality and, specifically, of sexual immorality. “She was a seducer, a temptress, the goddess who captivated, allured, and snatched away. As the patron goddess of the tavern, or alehouse, she was associated with the partaking of alcohol, particularly of beer. She dwelled in the taverns and mixed sexuality with intoxication,” says Cahn.

Cahn asks the chilling question, “So what would happen if the goddess returned? Would the rainbow also return as a sign of her power?”

“It would. And it has,” he says. “It was no accident that the movement that had been birthed by the goddess should take as its symbol the sign of the goddess. Those who designed it, those who carried it, and those who adopted it to serve as the defining symbol of the movement had no idea of the connection.”

So, Cahn points out, the movement that had crossed the boundaries of sexuality and altered the parameters of gender now adopted as its symbol the sign of the ancient goddess who had crossed the boundaries of sexuality and altered the parameters of gender.

What can believers do while surrounded by the symbols of pagan beliefs?

“The only way to live is by the power of God,” writes Cahn. “It is only by His power that one can stand against the gods. It is only by His love that one can overcome all hatred. Only by His grace can one overcome all sin. Only by His hand can one break the chains of all bondage. And only by His light can one overcome the darkness of the age. In days of darkness the light must not waver or weaken but must grow stronger. And if the dark grows darker still, then the light must shine all the more brightly into it. And those who will not give up will, in the end, prevail.”

One reader commented about “The Return of the Gods,” “Over the years I would read disturbing news headlines and say ‘Why?’ I just read this book and now I know why! I would always think the devil and demons were at work. Yes, they are but this shocking revelation changes everything! Once again Rabbi Cahn has done amazing research and revelations! He makes clear points without naming names. He hits on several sensitive topics with eloquence. This is absolutely his ‘most explosive book ever!’”

The ‘molten beast’ in America; Jonathan Cahn’s latest bestseller ‘The Return of the Gods’ outlines the rise of the Dark Trinity — and what’s to come

NEW YORK The inflation rate in America peaked at over 9% earlier this year, forcing many Americans to reexamine their personal finances and investments to make ends meet. As the country laments the loss of the previous financial freedom, New York Times bestselling author Jonathan Cahn has uncovered a deeper, darker mystery behind America’s economy.

On September 6, 2022, Jonathan Cahn’s latest groundbreaking book, “The Return of the Gods,” hit shelves across the world. Critics and fans alike are still reeling over the jaw-dropping revelations in the book.

The book identifies three key ancient entities who previously have been the catalysts for some of the most prevalent unbiblical movements in America — the Dark Trinity. These same deities are the gods of old that ancient civilizations falsely worshipped and tempted Israel from the one true God. After many years lying dormant, the gods have returned — to the detriment of America.

The leader of the Dark Trinity is the Possessor. He was the god of fertility and prosperity, and his worshippers prayed to him to make fertile the soil and cause their crops to grow. As the lord of rains and fertility, he represented increase, gain, and profit. One of the Possessor’s preeminent symbols was the bull, which embodied his power and his connection to fertility. His idols often came in the form of a bull of metal or clay.

The lure of the Possessor has always been a present danger in American culture, Cahn writes. “For any nation so blessed with material prosperity as was America, there would always be the risk that its prosperity would become an idol and that it would turn to the god of increase and gain,” he says. “But with America’s departure from God in the late twentieth century, the spirit of the Possessor became ascendant.”

It was America’s financial realm, and Wall Street in particular, that epitomized the unadulterated pursuit of money. “The prosperity of the stock market had long been tied to the prosperity of America as a whole,” Cahn writes. “It was therefore striking that the symbol that embodied the prosperity of the stock market and America was the bull.” If the American stock market appeared to be heading toward increase, gain, and prosperity, it was called a bull market.

“The site of the materialization of the Possessor was the financial district of New York City, just outside the Stock Exchange on Wall Street,” Cahn says. “It appeared in December of 1989. It was massive, eleven feet tall and sixteen feet long. It weighed seventy-one hundred pounds. It was a molten image in the form of a bull — the sign of the Possessor.”

This massive bull was the American incarnation of the Possessor. It was the American version of the golden calf, the ancient biblical sign of a nation that had once known God and had fallen away, and that another god had mastered it.

With such clear signs of American apostasy, what should the Church of Christ do?

“The only way to live is by the power of God,” writes Cahn. “It is only by His power that one can stand against the gods. It is only by His love that one can overcome all hatred. Only by His grace can one overcome all sin. Only by His hand can one break the chains of all bondage. And only by His light can one overcome the darkness of the age. In days of darkness the light must not waver or weaken but must grow stronger. And if the dark grows darker still, then the light must shine all the more brightly into it. And those who will not give up will, in the end, prevail.”

While Cahn is known for revealing the stunning mysteries, many from ancient times that lie behind the events of modern times, “The Return of the Gods” takes the revelations to an entirely new level and dimension, and explains why laws are encroaching upon Christianity, its worship, churches and ministries in America today — and in the days to come.

The Return of the Gods” promises to take readers on a fascinating, unforgettable, and mind-blowing journey that will leave them stunned and with the ability to see the world as they never have before.

In the ancient days, mankind was seduced by ancient entities known as the shedim, but when Christianity rose, the gods were forced to flee. Held at bay for years by the truth of the Gospel, these ancient gods — the Dark Trinity — have returned right when America began to lose its faith.

Cahn refers to a parable in Matthew 12:43-45 where Jesus explains how a man who was freed from one spirit but, after he failed to find faith in Christ, was possessed by even more spirits. Cahn asks an imperative question: what happens if this principle is applied to an entire civilization?

“Should a culture, a society, a nation, or a civilization be cleansed, exorcised of the gods and spirits — but then remain empty — it will be repossessed by the gods and spirits that once possessed it, and more,” Cahn explains. “And it will end up in a far worse state than if it had never been cleansed or exorcised at all. It will, according to the parable, end up many times more possessed and evil than before.”

This is exactly what will happen to America — unless the country turns and repents, as Cahn explains. “Evil will give way to good, falsehood to truth, and the darkness to the breaking of dawn. The gods will fade into the brightness of His coming, the coming of Him who is the only Light — and who alone is God.”

Cahn delves into the rise and fall of these ancient deities, answering questions such as:

Who are the ancient gods? What are they? And is it possible that these beings, whose origins are from ancient times, are the unseen catalysts of modern culture?

Is it possible that these gods lie behind the most pivotal events, forces, and movements taking place in our nation and around the world at this very moment? Are the gods at this very moment transforming our culture, our children, our lives, and America itself?

What is the Dark Trinity? Is it possible that what we in the modern world take as nothing more than ancient mythology could actually possess a reality beyond our fathoming?

One reader commented about “The Return of the Gods,” “I got this book a few days ago and started reading immediately. I’ve had to stop numerous times and pray for our nation. Now I understand why Jeremiah was called the weeping prophet. I’m no prophet but I’m weeping for our nation. Read this book, get one for your friends and family. Then pray for our nation like you have never prayed before!”

The Return of the Gods” promises to take readers on a fascinating, unforgettable, and mind-blowing journey that will leave them stunned and with the ability to see the world as they never have before.

With the release of “The Harbinger II: The Return in September 2020, multitudes of new fans have embraced Jonathan Cahn’s compelling messages and prophecies, in addition to the millions that are already heeding the warnings and prophecies outlined in his previous books over the past decade.

Is there still hope for America? Bestselling author Jonathan Cahn unveils uncertain future of America in latest book ‘The Return of the Gods’

‘The Return of the Gods’ had a five-week run on New York Times bestsellers list

NEW YORK  Is there hope for America? Many concerned citizens are witnessing the demise of the once shining city on a hill and questioning what is in store for the country. Christians and non-believers alike are looking for answers — but the answers may be more ancient than anyone anticipated.

New York Times bestselling author Jonathan Cahn has dedicated his life to uncovering ancient mysteries found in biblical texts, first with his critically acclaimed book “The Harbinger” and recently with his blockbuster feature film “The Harbingers of Things to Come.” Now, Cahn is back with his most cataclysmic work to date — “The Return of the Gods.” Since the book’s release, “The Return of the Gods” hit No.

In the book, Cahn explains that the gods of old are back and wreaking havoc in modern America. “The gods now dwell among us,” Cahn writes. “They inhabit our institutions, walk the halls of our governments, cast votes in our legislatures, guide our corporations, gaze out from our skyscrapers, perform on our stages, and teach in our universities. They saturate our media, direct our news cycles, inspire our entertainments, and give voices to our songs. They incite new movements and ideologies and convert others to their ends. They instruct our children and initiate them into their ways. They incite the multitudes. They drive otherwise rational people into irrationality and some into frenzies, just as they had done in ancient times. They demand our worship, our veneration, our submission, and our sacrifices.”

However, there is hope, according to Cahn“Their kingdom is false, their authority illegitimate, and their kingdom will end,” Cahn assures readers in the book. “Evil will give way to good, falsehood to truth, and the darkness to the breaking of dawn. The gods will fade into the brightness of His coming, the coming of Him who is the only Light — and who alone is God.”

The sexualization of America; bestselling author Jonathan Cahn reveals ancient mystery behind paganization of America

‘The Return of the Gods’ hit New York Times, Wall Street Journal, USA Today, Publishers Weekly bestsellers lists

NEW YORK  Is it possible that ancient gods have come back and are behind what is currently happening in America? Could their existence be transforming culture, families, children, businesses, government, technology — and even our very lives? Is there a more sinister force that is the mastermind behind the desensitization of Americans towards sex?

In his mind-blowing new book, “The Return of the Gods,” bestselling author Jonathan Cahn outlines how America’s turning away from God has opened the door to dark entities that are at work at this very moment, transforming the nation and Western civilization.

To the nation of Israel, according to Cahn, the Possessor was the embodiment of paganism and of all pagan gods.

“She was a seducer, a temptress, the goddess who captivated, allured, and snatched away.”

The effect of the Enchantress’ return to the modern world has been the progressive undermining and weakening of marriage, according to Cahn. “Her nature and acts, her worship and cult, would undermine marriage,” Cahn says. “The Enchantress was never faithful. She was promiscuous. She pursued and seduced lover after lover. She pursued sexual relations apart from marriage and to the detriment of marriage.”

As sexuality is glorified as an end in and of itself, marriage has eroded. Just as the Enchantress has pursued relationship after relationship, so America has done the same. Divorce is now an epidemic, and America is filled with broken homes.

Cahn chillingly points out that Americans are now championing what they had once forbidden and forbidding what they had once championed. The workings of the Enchantress have produced the most profound transformations in American, Western, and world civilizations. She has altered them beyond recognition — but there is hope.

“All who are called by His name can take encouragement, heart, strength, hope, and courage to live unbowed in the face of the gods,” Cahn explains. “It is time to be strong and of good courage. It is time to be bold. It is time to let go of all fear and concern and to take a stand against the darkness and for the light.
